William Nutt

Mr. Nutt comes to us from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California.

In his most recent role as executive director for Equity and Inclusion at CSU, he oversaw the university’s Title IX, ADA, and DHR initiatives, serving as a subject matter expert for diversity, inclusion and equity for that institution. Prior to that leadership role, he also served as manager of Institutional Equity and deputy Title IX coordinator. He has also worked as an equity investigator at the University of Texas at Austin and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Dallas.

William holds both a Master of Arts in anthropology and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington, and earned his bachelor’s in anthropology from the same institution, graduating cum laude.

We’re very pleased to bring William’s expertise in diversity, equity, inclusion, access, and belonging strategies and best practices to NMSU. His experience as an investigator and researcher will be critical to our continued efforts to assess, understand and respond to the unique needs of our university community.
